I have recorded 17 songs in my home studio so far and today I just updated my “Catalog of Songs” to include all the new ones that weren’t there before. Previously, I had five songs listed.
My Catalog of Songs is the page where you can listen to my songs. They appear in no particular order. But some of my newest songs are up at the top of the list. So far, this page just lists the title of each song and then the audio file of the song so you can listen to it.
I hope you take the time to listen to some of my songs. I have a variety of topics and subjects included and the style is mostly Country and some Gospel.
I have a lot more songs to record. I’ve been on a creative wave lately, writing lyrics. Once I have the lyrics down, then I go into my studio and start working on chord progressions and melodies. This is something I am still learning a lot about. It is an absolute joy when it all comes together and the lyrics have music with them to create a new song!
One of my concerns about putting chord progressions and melodies to my songs is that I don’t want two songs to sound exactly alike, even if they have the same chord progressions. So far I have been pretty successful with this but it is always in the back of the my head and will become an increasing concern as I write more and more songs.
